I have recently been meditating on the amount of “brains” that have left countries such as Venezuela during the last two decades in search of a better quality of life in foreign countries.

We have just to travel in our minds, in time, and think of those who got married due to religious and discriminatory attitudes towards them just because of being considered “different” or “rare” Where prejudice was and still is : …”an irrational attitude of hostility directed against an individual, a group, a race, or their supposed characteristics”.

We, who call ourselves, Christians, Catholics and so on, We, that believe in one God, We that know that God, Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit are of one essence and that as Lord Jesus said: “Only through me you can get to the Father” and that God created all that exists visible and invisible including the Universe and that God is the only one who can judge us, still We go on judging others who are our equals to the point of making their lives unbearable and having the right to exist as the bullies have, the victims have to adopt drastic measures to carry on living their lives.

Who am I to criticize you and who are you to criticize me? Who is the almighty you? Me? Or God?

I have personally been criticized all my life long for being me! The comments, the gossips, the bullying, the different terms to describe me since I was a little child have not deterred me, but made me stronger because, (not forgetting the amount of times I have been dead as when people see me back in my hometown they in a very surprised way say : Oh My God!!! I was told you were dead!!!hahaha, to which I reply, no not yet!! ).Like you, God created me and I have as much right to exist as you do.

It calls my attention that in Venezuela, i.e. the amount of men who have sex with men and do not consider themselves Gay or Homosexual go having umprotected sex with other men and then going back to their girlfriends/wifes which makes them the victims of infectious deseases without leaving the house!

This doesn't just happen in Venezuela of course and it is not until people are faced with reality that the penny drops. How many people are innocently infected with STDs without them knowing.

Having lived in England for over 16 years now, I have seen it all and still I am amazed of the level of ignorance that still in the 21st Century, exists. Girls who think that by taking the "pill" they will never catch H.I.V. for instance.

Just a recent survey from Stonewall reports that, and I copy textually: 24% think gay sex should be made illegal; 45% think same-sex couples should NOT be allowed to get married and 56% think same-sex couples should NOT be allowed to adopt children".

Now when in the press appears that a child of 13 has fathered a baby then one thinks how on earth is a kid going to bring up a kid. And how about the in-famous case of Baby P... I am sure a well balanced gay couple could bring up not just a child but several. It is not on the gender of the parents but in the minds of them.

Let's meditate on these topics and be God-like... by helping each other and not destroying each other.

Let's use the intellect God gave us to progress and not to control nor manipulate.

Best Regards,
